Dave and Maggie had a beautiful June wedding at the Disneyland Hotel, with their ceremony in the Rose Court Garden, and a reception at the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. I can’t say enough good things about Dave and Maggie. I love how playful they always are with each other, how they’re always smiling and laughing, and how much they simply enjoy each others company. You only need to spend two minutes with them to see how perfect they are together. We got to know each other during their engagement session, where we laughed and smiled the whole way through. I had been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time after their engagement session, and was so happy when the day finally came.
Love this photo of Maggie, she’s beautiful inside and out. 🙂
We had a great time taking portraits with her friends and family.
Maggie was tearing up during her portraits, she was so happy!
Her wedding colors were an elegant deep blue, with soft pinks and whites.
Gotta love those Jimmy Choos!
We even ran into a fun friend on the way to the ceremony.
I had such a great time taking phtoos of Maggie and that beautiful veil!
Maggie and Dave exchanged gifts during a blind first look, it was such a sweet moment when they read their cards to each other. Maggie gave Dave a viewfinder with photos of some of their favorite memories together, it was so thoughtful!
And her beautiful bouquet, those peonies and baby roses!
The Rose Court Garden was beautiful, as always.
And I love Dave’s expression from when he saw Maggie for the first time.
Love these two!
The reception is always fun for us to photograph, we turn the timeline over to the DJ at this point, so we really get to relax and just enjoy how the night unfolds. Maggie and Dave’s reception was really lovely. They had a signature sweet tea drink, and everything looked elegant and beautiful.
I loved their cake! I’m allergic to dairy and their cake was vegan, so I was able to have a slice of wedding cake for the first time since my own wedding. It looked and tasted incredible!
It was a blast photographing Dave and Maggie and her friends while they were dancing, one of the highlights of the night. Everyone was on the dance floor, dancing away until the very last song. 🙂
The next morning we woke up as the sun began to rise, and took more wedding photos in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Disneyland! These are the mornings I live for!
Happy anniversary, Maggie and Dave! I’m so happy for you both, and so glad we have become friends. Thanks for having me photograph your wedding day!

I loved Maggie and Dave’s wedding pictures. Everything you pointed out (the viewfinder, Dave’s expression, Maggie’s stunning formals) are things that stand out to me about their day. I also love how they recreated Abbey Road for one of their bridal party pics (not shown here). Such a gorgeous event for such a wonderful couple. Congrats to them on their first anniversary!
P.S. I had no idea about your cake intolerance. That makes me so sad. Cake is what I’m all about, so I don’t know what how I could look at a cake and not eat it. 😉 lol So glad they were able to hook you up with a slice though. <3
