I had such a wonderful time photographing Justin and Olivia’s beautiful wedding day. When I think back on that day, what I remember most is how sweet Justin and Olivia were together. They’re the kind of couple that is always in sync, always smiling at each other, it’s like they have their own little language.
Justin and Olivia met in Denver Colorado at Regis University. They met in the dorms, and became best friends and bonded over their home state of California and mutual love of Disney. When I asked what they like to do for fun, they said that they simply loved to be together and spend quality time together. Their favorite way to spend time together is to go to Disneyland, or cuddle up on the couch and binge watch their favorite shows.
The day started out at the Disneyland Hotel, where all of Olivia’s bridesmaids and family got ready together. As a gift for her bridal party, Olivia had Toms and Keds custom painted with their favorite Disney movie.

Olivia and Justin are most looking forward to being able to spend the rest of our lives together and also to start a family together. They said their wedding day was perfect…because it was the day they celebrated their lives together with those who were closest to them.
One of my favorite moments during the wedding, was when Cinderella’s Crystal Coach arrived. I had lined Olivia’s bridesmaids up for a “photo”, and the Crystal Coach pulled up in front of them. I loved capturing their reactions.
During the planning process, Olivia and Justin learned they agree on a lot and were both flexible and open to what each other wanted. Their biggest goal was to get married at Disneyland, so they said their planning process was a success!
Their Ceremony was at the Rose Court Garden of the Disneyland Hotel. I loved the programs that Olivia and Justin had designed.
And Justin’s expression as Olivia walked down the aisle was priceless…
After the ceremony, we took portraits with the carriage and the wedding party.
Their reception was in the Sequoia Ballroom at the Grand Californian Hotel, and I loved their fun entrance into the reception.
As a special surprise, they had a midnight snack for their guests, with Crispy Treats and a Mickey Pretzel Bar!
Thank you for having me document your wedding day, Olivia and Justin! It was an honor to be there. I know you’re going to have a lifetime of happiness together, and I’m so happy for you!
