You’d think I spend my extra time taking family pics, but things get so busy over here that it’s rare I get to step back and pull out my professional camera for personal photos. It’s also a little harder to enjoy the moment when I have my camera with me. I’m busy concentrating on lighting and framing, and not giving my son the same attention I can give him when all I need to do is quickly pull out my cell phone and snap a pic.
But a short while ago, we were on a wonderful trip with the sweetest family, taking senior photos. My little guy was having a hard time not being the center of my attention, and asked if I could please take a photo of him too.
My husband was amused that my son wanted to pose for my camera so much, and decided to surprise him.
On the drive home, it was so beautiful outside. We had to stop for a photo. Sometimes I can’t believe how beautiful this planet is.
They were shadowed but I wanted a photo of them without setting up all my lighting equipment, so I just threw on a flash and pointed it towards them, full speed ahead. 🙂
And I had to take a solo of my son, I love him so much. 🙂
Alright, and now back to our regularly scheduled program over here. More wedding/engagement photos coming soon!
