Richard and Maridyth had such a beautiful wedding, and I loved their unique and original color theme! The deep blues and reds were stunning in the Disney California Adventure Animation building, and all of the guests’ jaws dropped as they entered the room! As a side note, I always get so excited when I have an Animation building wedding. They’re usually late at night, and evening weddings always have a special feeling because you’ve spent all day feeling excited about it. Not to mention it’s a treat to walk through the Disney California Adventure while it’s empty. Nothing can describe that feeling! We also had nearly my entire crew there, (second shooters and our photo booth crew), and we love working together, especially when it’s an event in the park. When the reception was over, we all took the character quizzes in the Sorcerer’s Workshop and we decided this was our WRPB employee aptitude test, haha. 😉
Back to the wedding though, I really could have spent all night taking photos of Richard and Maridyth. Richard had a great sense of humor and they smiled and laughed throughout all of the photos. They both have a great love of classical music. My mom was a piano major at one time, so I grew up listening to the music they played throughout the night. It was such a wonderful experience, and I hope you enjoy their Disney Animation building wedding photos!
The day began at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. Isn’t this bouquet stunning? Another stunning creation from Disney’s floral and decor team!
Loved their first look in the Brisa Courtyard; always such a sweet moment.
Maridyth’s sweet flower girls. Aren’t the colors beautiful?
Their wedding ceremony was in the Brisa Courtyard. The Brisa Courtyard is actually one of my favorite locations. It’s so beautiful and cozy, and Maridyth and Richard’s ceremony was stunning!
I had to take advantage of those beautiful lights, they were so lovely!
The pre-reception was in front of the Animation building. It was beautiful out there!
And it gave us a chance to take a few photos around Hollywood Blvd.
Then it was time for the reception. The room was gorgeous, I waited for the lanterns to appear on the screens because I thought the colors would be amazing with Richard and Maridyth’s color palette!
Their cake was really beautiful, and they had miniature cakes for all their guests to take home!
During the reception, we had a chance to take a few more photos inside the building:
And then everyone danced the night away with our photo booth props, haha.
What an amazing day, from beginning to end! Thanks so much for having us be a part of it, Richard and Maridyth!
