A Disneyland Hotel Wedding
On a beautiful Spring day, I had the pleasure of capturing Jasmine and Daniel’s beautiful Disneyland Hotel wedding. They had their ceremony in the Rose Court Garden and a reception in the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. It was such a special day for their guests, with surprises throughout the wedding—even a special appearances by Mickey and Minnie. But, the biggest surprise was at the end of the night – when their guests were escorted into Disneyland to ride Radiator Springs.
The Fairytale Suite
Jasmine chose to have her getting ready photos in the Fairytale Suite of the Disneyland Hotel. I always love it when I have the chance to photograph here; it’s a beautiful beginning to a wedding day and is perfect for getting ready photos. Jasmine’s wedding theme had little nods to Cinderella, so I made sure to incorporate the Cinderella paintings into her portraits and included the mosaic tile Castle.
Meanwhile, Daniel had his own Disney touches for his getting-ready photos – like these Porg Cufflinks you can find at Nordstrom’s.
The First Look
Jasmine and Daniel’s first look was a lovely moment, with Daniel tearing up when he saw Jasmine for the first time.
After the first look, we took family and wedding portraits. Jasmine and her sister were so sweet together. You could tell they have a close bond, and Jasmine even had her sister ride in the Carriage with her to the wedding venue.
Cinderella’s Carriage
After the portraits, Cinderella’s carriage arrived. Jasmine took photos with the glass slipper and the Royal Footman before being whisked away in the carriage to begin her ceremony for their Disneyland Hotel Wedding. When we took her wedding portraits, she had a long cathedral veil, giving their carriage photos a whimsical touch.
The Ceremony
Jasmine’s Ceremony took place at the Rose Court Garden of the Disneyland Hotel. She had soft blues and white as her wedding colors, another subtle nod to Cinderella. When the carriage arrived with Jasmine, it was a beautiful moment as she walked down the aisle to a string quartet.
After the ceremony, we took portraits in the Rose Court Garden before making our way to their reception in the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion.
The Reception
After Jasmine and Daniel entered, a fantastic night of dinner, dancing, and family and friends followed. Mickey and Minnie even appeared for photos. Their wedding colors had soft blues, and Cinderella’s Carriage was used for table numbers. The head table had a beautiful fairytale wedding book. A perfect tribute to their love story and fairytale wedding.
The Surprise
As the reception wrapped up and the guests began to say their goodbyes, the couple had one more surprise. They had arranged a private after-hours ride on Radiator Springs Racers. As guests were escorted through Downtown Disney and into the park, the Route 66 atmosphere added to their excitement. Jasmine changed into a second wedding dress and wore her Minnie ears for their wedding field-trip. Their guests rode several times, and at the end of the experience, took a fun group photo in Cars Land. Jasmine and Daniel truly treated their guests to an incredible day. Thank you so much for having us capture it, Jasmine, and Daniel! We loved being there so much!
