I knew we were bound to have a fun Disneyland engagement session when I read Kayla and Craig’s bio about each other, it was incredibly loving and very obvious that their relationship was written in the stars.
You see, Kayla and Craig officially met at a local gym, but unknowingly bumped into each other almost half a dozen times over a ten year period before they met. Kayla was working security at a high school football game he played in, and she saw him during halftime entertainment at an arena football game. Another time he bussed her table in a restaurant and they remembered years later how they smiled at each other. But I loved Kayla’s memory of seeing Craig and his brothers dressed up at a midnight screening of Avengers. When she saw the photo of him at this event later, she was surprised to realize that he was her future beau.
Together they love to cook dinner, attend beer tastings and brewery tours, go out on dinner/movie date nights, go to the gym together, watch Netflix on the couch with their cat (Elaine), sleep in together, check out food festivals, have long in-depth talks about nothing (or everything), and most importantly: go to Disneyland!!
Kayla had a cute spin on her princess shoes, and they were a wonderful reflection of their adorable personalities.
They even light up in the dark!
I loved hearing about how Craig proposed to Kayla in New Orleans, when he took her to meet his extended family at a family reunion. What a sweet and thoughtful time for a proposal.
Kayla loves Pandora, so Craig decided to reenact how things go when they walk by a Pandora store together. 😉
Kayla loves how smart Craig is, how he always makes her laugh, supports her in all her ambitions, listens to her without judging her, spoils her and treats her like a princess, commands the attention of a room, and makes her feel safe and protected.
Craig loves that Kayla has a beautiful smile, a good sense of humor, how driven she is, the funny faces she makes and the “ugly selfies” she takes, how she takes care of him and is concerned about him, the way she supports and sees potential in him.
