I thought maybe we could add a little sunshine to this winter day and feature Danny and John’s bright and cheerful Disneyland Hotel Rose Court Garden wedding. There were dozens of pops of pink and yellow throughout their wedding, and it really was photography heaven.
Danny and John were also very sweet with each other. I could see the tears beginning for both of them during their touching first look. You can tell they adore each other, and it was so special to be able to photograph them both, on what was probably one of the happiest days of their lives. Danny also had to have been one of the most considerate brides I’ve ever worked with. She was so careful about making sure her guests were comfortable. You can tell she takes care of the people she loves, and I know her and John are going to have a lot of happy moments ahead of them. 🙂
The jewels in the bouquet were Danny’s idea, I thought they turned out gorgeous!
And I loved that each bridesmaid had her own special glass. <3
This was their guest book, it was a framed photo that had been made for them, and the guests signed their names on the pink leaves. I thought it was so sweet!
So sweet, that I used it to take photos of their wedding bands. 😉
When Danny was having her hair done, we laughed all morning at the stories she was telling about her adventures.
And I loved that the bridesmaid robes matched with their pink and yellow wedding colors.
Their first look.
I loved the draping on the Rose Court Garden.
One of my all time favorite “walking down the aisle” photos.
It was cute after their wedding, because Danny and John just wanted to hug each other. If I had known about their first dance though, these wedding photos would have been very different, haha. These two have some incredible dancing moves!
After the wedding ceremony, we moved to the Wisteria room at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.
Instead of a cake, they opted for cupcakes!
I love the Wisteria room, there are some gorgeous windows that the light hits really well towards the end of the day.
Pink, yellow, and white chocolate customized wedding favors.
Danny and John performed, “I’ve Had the Time of my Life” for their first dance. They were amazing!
And this made me laugh. At one point during the reception, I turned around and saw that everyone had formed a large pyramid with Danny on top. I was so glad I turned around and had the right lens on my camera at the time, and snapped away. It was such a fun reception. They danced until the very last song, and then asked for a few more last, last songs. 😉
Congratulations again, Danny and John. You two are simply meant for each other. 🙂

Btw, are you sure that was her hair and makeup team? I’m pretty sure I recognized the Flawless Faces logo on whoever was doing her hair in the slideshow, but you have it down as Fairytale. I know it’s hard to differentiate since they both do great jobs. 🙂
Hope! Thank you so much for catching that, I should just hire you, haha. 🙂 Fixed!
Yay! You’re welcome. Official blog booboo fixer-er reporting for duty. 😉
