I loved photographing Ashley’s Vanellope von Schweetz inspired newborn session at our Santa Ana studio. I loved getting the chance to be a little creative.
Documenting Families from Disney Weddings to Newborn Milestones
I’ve been documenting Ashley’s family since her Disneyland wedding at the Animation Building in Disney California Adventure Park. Getting to photograph their first and second newborn session felt extra special. For their first newborn session, they chose the Monsters, Inc. as a theme. I couldn’t wait to see what creative idea they would bring for this next chapter. I was so excited to hear they’d settled on Wreck it Ralph.
Disney-Inspired Newborn Photography in Santa Ana
For this session, they decided on a Vanellope von Schweetz theme from Wreck-It Ralph ~ and it turned out absolutely adorable. We crafted Vannellope’s car out of a newborn basket, and brought in all the candy props we could find!
One of my favorite parts of the session was that the entire family dressed up for a photo together, fully leaning into the theme.
It was truly wonderful seeing Ashley and her family again and documenting such a sweet milestone. Watching families return year after year is one of the greatest joys of my work.
