Every newborn session comes with its own creative challenge ~ and Baby Luke’s session was easily one of the most ambitious builds I’ve ever done.
When Luke’s parents asked if we could create an X-Wing–inspired setup for their newborn photos, I knew it had to feel epic, while still staying soft and lovable. So, I got to work designing a custom setup that balanced Star Wars with newborn styling.
The result was an X-Wing newborn set, created specifically for Luke and photographed in our Orange County studio. Watching this idea come to life was incredibly rewarding, and it’s sessions like this that remind me why I love what I do.

Luke’s parents also brought along their cats ~ it was my first time photographing cats during a newborn session! We had such a fun experience capturing Loki-inspired portraits.
