Shannon and Lewie are absolutely adorable in every way. I loved shooting their Disneyland Wedding, and spending the day as a part of the family. I’m a regular reader of Shannon’s Instagram, so I keep up with her daily life and all of the things that she loves. She and Lewie are such a fun couple! You’ll see in a bit that they opted for the not-so-traditional wedding footwear, and it worked perfectly.
During the wedding, it was touching to see how much Shannon and Lewie care for one another – they were beaming when she walked down the aisle – but it was equally inspiring to see the love they share between their families. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Lewie teared up during the mother/son dance. They obviously come from homes filled with love, and this flows into all of their other relationships.
Shannon surprised Lewie with an Oswald inspired groom’s cake (which was amazing) and was featured on the Official Disney Wedding Blog. Oswald is Lewie’s favorite Disney character, and the cake and the surprise were incredible and so thoughtful of Shannon.
Their first dance was to Disney Robin Hood’s song “Love.” I hadn’t heard the song in such a long time, I had forgotten how charming it was. It only added to the already sweet and intimate atmosphere of their wedding. It was a lovely afternoon, and I was honored to be a part.
Lewie wore the classy and symbolic Mickey Mouse cufflinks.
Shannon was chauffereed to the Rose Court Garden in Cinderella’s Crystal Coach where Major Domo carried the rings down the aisle in a glass slipper.
Absolutely perfect in every way!
Everyone in the wedding party had an individually customized Mickey hat with their role engraved on the back. Notice the groom’s Mickey hat? Those are so hard to find!

Their reception was held in the Mark Twain Room at the Adventureland Tower of the Disneyland Hotel. The perfect spot for their classy gathering.
Of course, Mickey and Minnie were there to wish them well on their new journey together.
