I’ve heard it said, that anyone who thinks sunshine is pure happiness-has never danced in the rain.
Jenna and Jacob’s wedding couldn’t have held more true to this quote. Here is just a glimpse of their wedding and I promise to post more soon, but it was such a beautiful night that I had to share. Their wedding took place under the stars and the moonlight in the French Quarter of the Happiest Place on Earth. I’ve never seen it look more beautiful or romantic.
All night, we were worried it would rain. The weather has been strange in California, with sudden downpours that remind me of my time in Florida. Jenna and Jacob’s Disney coordinator, Michiel, was checking the weather frequently, and we were all crossing our fingers that the storm would come after the night ended around 4am in the morning.
Even though it was a late night, the wonderful thing about Jenna and Jacob’s wedding, was that everyone stayed and danced until the end. It was one of those evenings you’ll never forget, and everyone wanted to soak in and enjoy what a beautiful night it was.
Towards the end of the reception, it suddenly began to pour rain. Instead of dampening our spirits, it only added to the magic of the evening. As soon as my camera equipment was safe, I captured a few photos of some of the guests dancing in the rain.
So if it rains on your wedding day, smile and keep on dancing. <3
