Madison and Alex’s wedding had everything from rustic archways to lightsaber battles. It was the most beautifully eclectic wedding mashup of all time, and I was so happy to be there to photograph it. Alex and Madison met through friends while on a Go Karting adventure. Madison playfully shared that Alex won because she was too afraid of crashing (which she ended up doing many times despite).
Alex shared, “I love her smile, laugh, and kindness. I love how loving she is, she will do anything for me…”

Madi shared, “I love how much he loves me. I love his child-like ness, it suits mine so well. I love that when we’re not getting along as partners, he can put it aside and just be my friend.”
I loved this sweet moment, when Alex’s best friend gifted her with a work from one of their favorite artists growing up.
And here is their first look!
Alex and Madison were friends for so many years that they couldn’t recall the moment when things switched from “hanging out” to “dates”. They spend a lot of time just being at home together. Sitting in silence, snuggling, just enjoying the other person’s presence~ with their very cute dog of course!
I loved their Ceremony at the Brisa Courtyard of the Grand Californian Hotel. It added a little touch of Disneyland to have the monorail go by every now and then.
One day they had a conversation and decided they both wanted the same thing in life, so they picked out a ring and went to spend time at a location that was meaningful to their relationship to celebrate.
They wanted their wedding to be fun! Magical! Purple! They knew going into the planning process that they’re both control freaks, but during the wedding they really learned to work as a team when things get stressful.
According to Madison, a perfect day together includes coffee and a walk with the dog. spending the whole day snuggling, watching TV, sitting in the garden, playing with our camera and taking funny photos. We dance in the living room, and just chat about our lives. Then we make dinner together to end our day.
