On a sunny day in September, Kristina and Michael had their beautiful Hyatt at Carmel Highlands Wedding. Their lovely wedding overlooked the ocean in Carmel Valley.
Kristina works as a nurse, and got the sweetest text from her nursing pals on her wedding day.
Kristin had been working during the pandemic and wanted to make sure her family was safe. Because of this, they hadn’t seen each other in a year and her wedding turned into a sweet reunion for her family.
Kristina and Michael met through an online dating app, and decided to have their first date at a local mall. They immediately hit it off and their date turned into a full day adventure. Even though Kristina wasn’t a fan of scary movies, Michael somehow convinced her to go and made sure to hold her hand throughout the entire movie. A few years later on the anniversary of their first date, Michael got down on one knee and proposed.
They had originally planned for a Disney Wedding, but when covid hit, their plans had to change. Kristina and Michael learned how to be patient and flexible throughout the process. Soon, they realized that even though plans changed, the most important thing was finally getting married and having their family with them to celebrate.
Kristina told me that their perfect day “would be just to wake up next to the other person. It is so nice just to be with your best friend everyday. It wouldn’t hurt if we got to go to Disneyland that day as well!” I can’t think of anything more perfect, Kristina and Michael. I’m so happy for both of you, and so glad that your wedding was able to happen. Thank you again for having me, and congratulation on the beginning of your married lives together.
