Jackie is one of my best friends in the world, and I was honored to take her Inland Empire engagement photos. Jackie has truly been there for all of my happiest moments. She was there for my graduation, my wedding, and when we brought my son home. She’s also been there for all my toughest moments, and so many moments in between. I’m so grateful to have such a good friend in my life, and it’s been fun getting to know Jose over the past few years. They compliment each other perfectly, and it’s been lovely to see their relationship grow. My son has always known and loved Jackie, but in the past few years, he has also grown to love Jose. Sometimes, when he’s falling asleep at night-my son asks me to name the people who love him. I list off all the people in his little world while he drifts into dreamland. One night, I forgot to say that Jackie and Jose loved him too. My son quickly pointed out this major error. I told him it was true, that Jose and Jackie love him. He said that he loves them too. (:

It’s so sweet that you can now be there for your friend as she goes through the major life changes that she went through vicariously through you. Were you more anxious with a friend or less than when you photograph strangers? Btw, these were all soft and romantic. Loved them!
Definitely more anxious with a friend, haha. But nice that she got to see what I do! 🙂
