Wow, I can’t believe it’s a new year! Didn’t it go by quickly? I keep thinking back to last year, and how I had written my photography goals on a little piece of scrap paper. I was hoping to photograph five weddings and have 500 likes on my facebook photography page. Flash forward to this day, and the total number of weddings I ended up photographing last year was 22, with 1930 facebook likes (and growing)!
But the coolest thing about 2012, was how many new friends it has brought into my life. Through photography, I’ve become close to DJ’s, coordinators, florists, makeup artists, bloggers, photographers, former Matterhorn mountain climbers, graphic designers, television editors, teachers, nurses, waitresses, book sellers, and firemen~just to name a few! They all have brought so much happiness into my life, and I’m so glad they are a part of it. 🙂
Over the past month, I’ve been getting feedback from family, friends, and through my facebook page. I am working on putting all of these thoughts and comments into action! The first thing I am happy to announce, is that this next year, I’ll be working closely with Erika Bowers from Erika’s Elegance. She is going to help me with coordinating shoots and keeping things organized over here. She is a wonderful and talented friend, who I trust dearly. Between Erika and Mark, I think we have a great team over here!
There are going to be some more improvements coming up! I’ll try to make a better post of it when I get a chance, but for now I’d just like to say:
