A Disney Wedding Surprise for their Guests – Disney Wedding Rides
Savannah and Austen wanted their guests to have unforgettable Disney experiences on their wedding day, so they surprised them with a Disney Wedding Ride experience at Midway Mania! Adding an attraction experience to a Disney Wedding is an exciting way to incorporate the park into an event. It’s a fun treat for the wedding guests and us photographers, too! Savannah and Austen chose Midway Mania to share their favorite ride with their guests.
Midway Mania at Disneyland
Midway Mania is an attraction experience at Disney’s California Adventure that allows guests to compete in a fun and interactive game. The great thing about Midway Mania is how inclusive it is! Every guest can experience the attraction and participate. The attraction has five mini-games, and you compete with the other guests in your vehicle to see who can get the highest score.
What’s great is Midway Mania is a premiere attraction with a long line during park hours. Having the attraction as a private experience for your wedding guests is an unforgettable experience. Your group can ride the attraction as often as they’d like within the hour or sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of an empty California Adventure. It’s something only a few guests experience.
How a Disney Wedding Attraction Experience Works:
A little disclaimer – things are constantly changing in Disney Wedding World! For the best and most accurate information, reach out to your Disney Wedding Coordinator. The experience begins with a Cast Member escorting your group into the park. Your Guests will have to walk, so encourage your guests to wear comfortable shoes or have slippers available as a wedding favor. It’s a long walk if you wear heels and dance all night! You’ll need to request a wheelchair in advance for any guest who will need assistance walking to the Attraction.
Some couples choose to have the experience at the end of their wedding. Another option is to have an early marriage and ask their guests to meet later for a special surprise. The experience is usually for an hour. After the hour has ended, your guests are escorted back to the hotel by Cast Members. We always take a few photos to document the experience, but this is different than a Castle Photo Session, where we have an entire hour dedicated to taking pictures in Disneyland.
A Few More Special Disney Wedding Surprises
When Savannah and Austen’s guests returned to the hotel, one more surprise awaited them. They had arranged through Disney Weddings for a Churro Bar and even had Hot Chocolate set up to greet their guests. The hot chocolate had special cup warmers with their wedding logos and little facts about each other. The guests walked away from their wedding with a warm cup of hot chocolate and toasted churros in their hands. It was such a nice way to end a wedding celebration. Thank you again for having us, Savannah and Austen! We were so happy to be a part of your wedding day.
