It was such a pleasure to photograph Caroline and Steve’s Disney Cinderella Themed Wedding at The Disneyland Hotel. Caroline (or Carol, or Carolyn … she doesn’t have a preference, so I often found myself rotating spellings as we sent e-mails back and forth), feels like an old friend now. When we were planning out their engagement session, I remember being concerned about where we would photograph her bridal portraits, and she simply stated that she was an optimist and she knew everything would work out. And you know what, it totally did. I wish she didn’t live so far away because that kind of optimism is contagious. For now, I just try to remember how confident she was that everything, no matter what it was, was going to be okay.
Their wedding day was gorgeous. Every detail was carefully planned, from the Cinderella glass slippers she wore, to the Something Blue woven into her dress.
If you have a glass slipper, you must have as many photos of it as possible!
I loved her vibrant blue and purple cascading bouquet.
Steve’s boutonnière had a touch of Mickey.
And so did the necklaces that Caroline gifted her bridesmaids.
Caroline and Steve’s wedding vows were inspired by Dr. Seuss! And can you spot the Hidden Mickey on Caroline’s nails?
And of course, you can’t have a Cinderella themed wedding without Cinderella’s Crystal Coach.
Their ceremony took place at the gorgeous Rose Court Garden.
And she had a lovely heart shaped rose petal design for her trip down the aisle.
The reception took place in the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. Isn’t the blue draping divine?
Their four tier cake was a combination of many popular designs. I just love that bling!
It was a beautiful wedding, and I’m so incredible happy for these two!
