What I love most about photography, is that it makes me feel completely present and in the moment. I love being focused on everything that’s happening around me, from posing to the lighting. I also love making connections and forming friendships with so many people that I wouldn’t have known before. What I love about wedding photography is being able to capture such an important day for a person. It’s such an honor to be trusted with these memories, and I love that feeling when I send out the final wedding gallery, it’s been such a labor of love.

I have too many great wedding memories to count, but one of my favorites was when I photographed Kelcie and Larry’s castle session at Disneyland. Kelcie and Larry had an incredible love story and had been through so much. At the end of the session the Cast Members all came out onto Main Street and started clapping and cheering for them as we walked down the street. It was such a beautiful moment. It makes me tear up to think about it. Another favorite was when I photographed Chelsea and Grant’s wedding in Tuscany. While we were taking portraits, I started to hear drumming echo through the vineyards. They were having a festival in San Gimignano, and it was really amazing to hear the medieval drums. It was definitely a wow moment for me. Okay, so I’m sharing three, but another favorite was when we were photographing Sarah and Gilbert’s Tangled themed engagement session. We went to all of my favorite places and I got to work with so many incredible people. At the end of the session, we turned on the lantern song from Tangled and we all got a little teary eyed.
