The rainy days over here have me thinking … I don’t know if there’s anything more romantic than a rainy day. I love bringing out big umbrellas and capturing how shiny and crisp everything looks after a nice rain. I also might be a bit biased because my own engagement photos happened in the rain. And those clouds! Nothing beats them! It’s just beautiful to photograph! For those reasons, I was in heaven for Rob and Malora’s rainy day engagement photos, which took place in the Inland Empire. But in addition to being in photographer heaven, it was lovely to see Rob and Malora and how happy they were to be together. Rob is in the Navy and will often be gone for months and sometimes a year at a time. Every second they have together is precious. I also loved it when Malora brought out her photo of her grandparents. Her grandfather was also in the Navy, and they paid tribute to them by taking a photo with one of their grandparents portraits. It was a beautiful day all around. Congratulations again, Rob and Malora! I know there are good things in store for you both!
These are darling! I love how you could see the raindrops in pictures and how he wore his uniform and how they paid tribute to the grandparents. So sweet! I thought photographers didn’t like rain because the water messes up the equipment? I’m glad the weather didn’t steer you from the plans though. Also, that bridge they were on reminded me of Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood. I wish you had thought to have them play “Pooh sticks” on it. 🙂
