Rachael and Jake’s Vintage and Romantic Grand Californian Wedding, made my creative heart sing. Their beautiful fall wedding ceremony was located at the Parkview Terrace of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, with their reception in the Trillium Room of the Grand. Their rich and earthy wedding colors enhanced the craftsman motif at the Grand Californian, and I was simply obsessed with Rachael’s vintage wedding gown. Every detail was beautiful, from beginning to end.
It was touching to see the love that Rachael and Jake shared. Wedding days can be a little hectic at times, but when Rachael and Jake were together, they were unshakable. You could see how much they loved each other, just by watching them for a moment or two. Before the reception began, we took Rachael and Jake to see the Reception Room. As a side note, the Disney wedding team always loves it when the Bride and Groom walk into the Reception Room, it’s a special moment for everyone. DJ Jason Jass turned on one of Rachael and Jake’s favorite songs, and they shared a dance together in the empty room. It was a sweet moment, watching them dance. I could hear Jake and Rachael talking and laughing, and towards the end of the song, Rachael turned to Jake and said that this was the best part of her wedding so far, having a private moment to share a dance with him. Their wedding entourage was also a lot of fun! I had to smile when everyone was dancing and Rachael told me she needed to feed the fire of the dance floor, and proceeded to dance the night away with Jake and her friends. It was a beautiful night, all around.
