What a day we had with Jen and Anthony for their Disneyland Engagement Portrait Session!Β The clouds in the sky were beautiful, and everywhere we went-things seemed to fall into place! It was fun getting to know Jen and Anthony and hear about their wedding planning. I really can’t wait to see everything come together, it’s going to be stunning! I may have also taken one of my favorite photos of all time during their session. We had just walked through Buena Vista Street at Disney’s California Adventure and in the distance on Hollywood Blvd, I saw a bundle of beautiful blue and white balloons against the sky in the Hollywood backdrop. My artistic eye was in heaven and I walked as fast as I could to see if I could take photos of Jen and Anthony holding the balloons. Luckily, we all made it before the balloons disappeared and it turned out to be a beautiful moment.
But now I’m getting ahead of myself, so let me go back to the beginning! We started taking engagement photos by the Partners Statue. The castle was closed off, but we were still able to take some lovely photos around the area!
And then we enjoyed the Tangled area at the Fantasy Faire Theater.
Anthony impressed Jenny with his Clopin’s Music Box skills. π
Then we enjoyed a little more of Fantasyland.
We stopped to visit the Main Street Vehicles.
And then went over to Tomorrowland, one of Anthony’s favorite areas! I don’t know what happened, they were so sweet in Fantasyland, but when we started taking photos in Tomorrowland, Jenny and Anthony engaged in an epic light saber battle.
We waited so long for the monorail to come by, and when it finally did, we cheered (after I took the photo of course, lol)!
But we were near the Mark Twain Riverboats just in time. π
Then on our way back from New Orleans, we got lost in the spookiest place of all…the Haunted Mansion.
We definitely had to stop by the Tiki Room.
And the Jolly Holiday on Main Street. Love the penguin stained glass! Looks so pretty with Jenny and Anthony’s outfits.
I hope you enjoyed part 1 of Jenny and Anthony’s engagement photos! There was simply too much to share, so I’ve broken it into two parts! You should be seeing part two at California Adventure soon! π
I would’ve never guessed that the castle was closed off in these pictures. You always make it look like there’s no one else in the parks except for you and the couple. I love the way they coordinated. The shoot looked like a lot of fun and the clouds looked stunning in all the pics.
