I’d photographed Ricky and Melanie’s family earlier in the year, so I was very excited when it was time for their vow renewal at the Disneyland Resort’s Grand Californian Hotel. This was a big day for Melanie. When they first tied the knot, her wedding day wasn’t how she’d hoped it would be. Her vow renewal was her chance to have the wedding she’d always wanted. Melanie’s theme was Cinderella, and she had pretty soft blues in all of her decor. She put so much thought into everything, from her signature drink to the beautiful Cinderella ring box that she used to carry their wedding rings. Congratulations, Melanie and Ricky! Thank you for having me to capture your sweet vow renewal.
Bridesmaid Gifts:
For their first look, I had Ricky and their two boys line up and wait for Melanie to appear. They were so anxious to see her.
She stopped to give Ricky a hug along the way. 🙂
Then it was time for the ceremony! I was so happy to see some familiar faces in the crowd:

It was wonderful seeing all of these lovely ladies at Melanie’s reception, I wish I could have taken a break to chat with them, but I was on an unstoppable photo mission!

I’m so happy that Melanie and Ricky had the fairytale wedding of their dreams. Everything was so beautiful and so perfectly themed to Cinderella! Melanie looked gorgeous and Ricky was every bit her Prince Charming. They make an awesome pair and it was wonderful to see their love shine through on their special day.
I loved her bouquet and her signature drink and how her dress sparkled in the sunlight. The pictures of the wedding party with the sun shining through – OMG! It doesn’t get more fairytale than that. 🙂 Congratulations to them and thanks for having us be a small part of your day. 🙂
How beary pretty!!! We loved going to Melanie and Ricky’s VR and had such a fun time. We also liked playing peek-a-boo with your camera. You’re all kinds of fun! 🙂
