I love it when we grow alongside our families ~ and Harlow’s Alice in Wonderland cake smash was one of those moments that truly felt full circle.
We’ve been photographing this family since the very beginning. We started with their engagement session at Disneyland, then welcomed their sweet girl with newborn photos, and recently photographed her first birthday with this whimsical Alice in Wonderland-themed cake smash.
For Harlow’s session, we used our oversized teacup prop along with a custom backdrop and props, filled with soft pastels, hearts, and storybook charm straight out of Wonderland. Fun fact about this session: I set it up three different times. The perfectionist in me wanted to make sure every detail was right.
Harlow loved the cake, and dug right in ~ smashing the cake with pure joy. It was a total success.
The beautiful Alice in Wonderland cake was from Butter + Cream Bakery. This session was photographed by Tiffany, with the help of Bobby, and it was such a team effort to bring this Wonderland dream to life.
