I loved photographing Nana and Yuki’s early morning November wedding at the Disneyland Hotel. It was the perfect blend of romance, whimsy, and thoughtful Disney details. We were so honored to be a part of it.
One of my favorite behind-the-scenes moments from the day was photographing their wedding details. We actually captured those photos in the dark, using off-camera flash to create the bright, airy look you see throughout the gallery ~ a great reminder that beautiful images don’t always require perfect lighting, just thoughtful technique.
Their wedding day began early at the Disneyland Hotel, embracing a soft Cinderella-inspired theme with dusty blue tones and classic Disney elegance.
One of the most magical moments of the morning was Yuki’s arrival to the ceremony in Cinderella’s carriage, a moment that truly set the tone for the day and felt straight out of a fairytale.
The reception took place in the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion, where guests were treated to a brunch celebration. The menu included one of the most iconic Disney details ~ Mickey waffles ~ which added such a fun and personal touch to the experience. Toward the end of the reception, guests were surprised with a special appearance from Mickey and Minnie themselves!
Even the smallest details reflected Nana and Yuki’s personalities, including a sweet Chip and Dale surprise hidden on their cake.
This was such a fun wedding to photograph, and we truly loved connecting with Nana and Yuki throughout the day. I photographed the wedding with Andrew, and together we were so happy to be there documenting every meaningful moment.
